WHAT IS THE MONTHLY COST TO SELL AVON?
Zero. There is NO monthly cost to sell Avon. After you sign up online to sell Avon, you will receive your Starter Kit in about 3-5 days, receive instant access to your web office, a customizable eStore, and an online store. You can start selling Avon online immediately. In your web office you will receive training for new representatives. Avon provides multiple earning opportunities to be successful with your Avon business and selling Avon online and face-to-face. There is no charge to have a website with Avon.
HOW DO YOU GET PAID SELLING AVON ONLINE?
When a customer places an Avon order at your online store, you will receive a credit on your account in your web office. Your credit balance will continue to accumulate until Avon owes you more than $25. When this happens, Avon will do a direct deposit for the amount you are owed – twice a month into your bank account. The amount will post to your Avon account on the 1st and 15th of the month and will show up in your bank account within 2 business days. If you do not set up direct deposit, the credits for your sales will continue to accumulate or deduct from Avon – if you owe Avon.
HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SELL TO START EARNING COMMISSIONS?
You start earning commissions on your Avon sales when you sell your first dollar! There is no limit to the amount of money you can make with your Avon business. Campaign earnings start at 20% for all representatives, while you are growing your sales with Avon, your earnings also increases. The top percentage you can receive off of your Avon sales is 50%. DO I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT ON MY PERSONAL SHOPPING?
Yes, you will get the same discount as you would earn in profit. When you are at 40% earns in the current campaign – you get 40% OFF your purchases! You can find the earnings chart here. You can also earn a bigger discount by shopping out of the What’s New catalogs – sometimes called demo books. These books are exclusively for representatives!
DO YOU HOLD TEAM MEETINGS OR SEND OUT COMMUNICATIONS TO YOUR TEAM?
Yes, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my team – Avon and home team! I hold team meetings each campaign, send out newsletters, and provide tools and tips to help my team create a successful Avon business.
DOES AVON PROVIDE TRAINING?
Yes but because this is your own Avon business, it is up to you to take advantage of the Avon events, online training courses, and read the Avon materials. If you want to be a successful Avon Representative, you will be self-disciplined and make the most of your business.
HOW DOES SELLING AVON ONLINE WORK?
When you start selling Avon you can sell Avon door-to-door or sell Avon online. You can also decide to sell Avon online only or traditionally and online. I recommend trying both until you start excelling at one or the other. If you are successful traditionally and online – you will make the most money!
When you set up your Avon website, you can decide if you want your online customers to have items delivered directly to them, to you, or both. If you choose direct delivery only, all of your customer’s online orders will be shipped directly to them.
If you select representative delivery, customers can place their order on your website but their order will only be put in your online card. You are still responsible for placing the order, collecting the payments, and delivering the orders to your customers. If you choose both, the customer gets to pick how they want their order processed.
DOES AVON HAVE FUNDRAISING?
Yes, Avon Representatives receive a guaranteed 50% earnings and priority consideration on all registered fundraisers through the approved Fundraising Flyers available on yourAVON.com
This means, that a small group with only 20 participants selling $15 worth of products to just 10 customers each gives you a $3,000 order – entitling you to 50% earnings in that campaign. You decide what percentage of the $1,500 will go to the Fundraising organization. The rest is your profit!
It is not recommended that you have a fundraiser out of a full brochure because Avon cannot guarantee 50% earnings or product availability.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SIGN UP TO SELL AVON ONLINE?
When you sign up to become an Avon Representative and sell Avon online, the cost is the same as if you had signed up in-person with an Avon leader. You can choose from 3 different Avon starter kits. Read about the different starter kits here.
WHAT IS AN AVON CAMPAIGN?
An Avon campaign is a selling cycle that usually lasts two weeks long. The campaign will start and you will begin handing out campaign brochures and promoting your website and eStore for the current campaign sales. You will have access to your Key Campaign Dates at youravon.com which is your web office.
WHEN DID AVON START?
In 1886, 34 years before women in the U.S. earned the right to vote, Avon’s founder, David H. McConnell, helped give them the chance to earn an independent income. He didn’t set out to create a beauty company. In fact, McConnell was a traveling book salesperson who offered fragrances samples as an additional perk to his female customers. He saw that these women were more interested in the free perfume than the books. Since women had a passion for his products and loved networking with other women, McConnell was inspired to recruit them as Sales Representatives.
